Norwegian Cruise Line Launches First-Ever Semi-Annual Sale With 50% Off Fares
NCL Semi-Annual Sale 2026: 50% Off Cruises + Free Gratuities - book by 16th july 2026

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has rolled out its inaugural Semi-Annual Sale, a limited-time promotion cutting cruise fares by half across its global fleet. The offer also bundles in complimentary prepaid gratuities on select voyages, with fares for a standard seven-night sailing for two starting as low as $280.
The sale opens to Latitudes loyalty members first, running from
8–9 July, before becoming available to the general public from
10–16 July.
What NCL Is Saying
Marc Kazlauskas, president of Norwegian Cruise Line, framed the promotion as the standout deal of the year for travellers weighing up their next holiday booking, pointing to the combination of destinations on offer, the line's onboard experience, and the flexibility it gives guests to shape their own itinerary as reasons the timing works in customers' favour.
Where You Can Sail
The discount spans NCL's full route map, which includes hundreds of itineraries across several key regions:
Caribbean Departures are available from a wide spread of US homeports, including Miami and Port Canaveral in Florida, Galveston in Texas, New York City, New Orleans, and Philadelphia. Notable sailings include:
- The newly delivered Norwegian Aura, due to begin Caribbean service from Miami in June 2027, offering week-long voyages.
- The Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna, both running seven-night eastern and western Caribbean routes out of Miami or Port Canaveral.
- The Norwegian Viva, sailing weekly from Galveston with stops in Cozumel and Costa Maya (Mexico), Roatan (Honduras), and NCL's private Belize destination, Harvest Caye.
- Shorter Bahamas getaways aboard the Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Joy, with four- and five-night roundtrips from Miami calling at Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay.
Mexican Riviera The Norwegian Encore runs a seven-night roundtrip from Los Angeles, taking in Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta.
Alaska Seven-night roundtrip sailings depart Seattle aboard the Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Encore and Norwegian Joy, with stops in Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway alongside glacier and wildlife viewing along the way.
Europe NCL will operate 12 ships across Europe on a seasonal basis through 2027, departing from Barcelona, Rome (Civitavecchia), Venice (Ravenna), Athens (Piraeus), Lisbon and Southampton (London). Highlights include:
- The Norwegian Epic, sailing seven-night Mediterranean routes between Barcelona and Civitavecchia, with port calls in Spain, France and Italy.
- The Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Star and Norwegian Sun, covering the Mediterranean, British Isles and northern Europe.
Should You Book Now?
With the general public window closing on 16 July, and Latitudes members already having had early access from 8 July, travellers interested in Caribbean, Alaska or European itineraries have a narrow window to lock in fares before the sale ends. As with any limited-time cruise promotion, it's worth checking cabin category availability and gratuity terms directly with NCL or a travel agent, since perks like free prepaid gratuities apply only to select sailings.
